Information you choose to share
Our contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. You can also share your company, project type, and a Workshop example relevant to your enquiry. Editing the fields does not submit their contents. When you select Send message, the form sends your enquiry to NeedItBuilt without opening your email application or requiring a website account.
We save the submission in Supabase and use Resend to email it to our team. A saved submission can remain available to us even if the notification email is delayed or fails. We use your information to respond and discuss services. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include, such as business details or attachments.
Please avoid sending passwords, payment card details, sensitive personal records, or information you are not authorized to share.
Information processed during a visit
Vercel hosts the website. Its infrastructure processes technical request information, which may include an IP address, browser information, requested page, timestamps, and security or error information, to deliver and protect the site.
Our contact form uses your email address and a hashed identifier derived from your IP address to limit repeated submissions and reduce abuse. The form does not save your raw IP address in our enquiry records. Hosting and other service providers may process technical information in their own security and operational logs.
This version of the public website does not load optional analytics, advertising pixels, or session recording tools. It does not set cookies or use persistent browser storage. Fonts and page assets are served with the site. Workshop examples use fictional information and run in the page; they do not connect to your business accounts. How information is used and disclosed
We use enquiry information to communicate with you, understand a potential project, provide agreed services, maintain business records, and address security or legal matters. Providers supporting website hosting, database storage, and email communications process information needed to perform those functions, including Vercel, Supabase, and Resend.
Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights and security. The current public site does not send browsing activity to advertising networks for targeted advertising. This statement describes this website; any separate client service may require additional terms and privacy information.
Records from the previous website
Earlier versions offered free business analyses, project intake, and builder applications. Those workflows collected submitted contact and business information and used providers including Supabase for database storage, Resend for email delivery, and Anthropic for AI report generation.
Records from those earlier interactions may remain in our systems, email records, or provider systems. The current public pages do not run those submission workflows. Replacing the website does not itself delete historical records. Contact us to ask about information you previously submitted; please identify the email address you used without resending sensitive details.
Retention and security
Retention depends on the purpose of the information, ongoing communications or services, business record needs, applicable obligations, and the resolution of disputes. Provider retention and backup cycles can also affect when information is removed. We do not promise immediate deletion from every backup.
We take reasonable steps to limit access and protect information. No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can email mike@needitbuilt.com to ask about information we hold, request access, correction, or deletion, or ask us to stop optional marketing communications. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons.
Depending on your location and the circumstances, applicable law may provide additional rights. We will assess requests under the law that applies. We do not enable cross-site advertising tracking on these pages, including when a browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
Scope, changes, and contact
Our services are directed to businesses, and this website is not directed to children. External websites and your email provider have their own privacy practices. If our practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date and provide any further notice required by applicable law.
