Our target and assessment status
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA as a target for this work. These guidelines address a range of visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive accessibility needs.
We have not completed a comprehensive conformance assessment of the website. This statement is a description of our goals and approach, not a certification or a claim that every page and interaction meets every WCAG requirement. Automated checks and manual spot checks can identify issues but do not establish complete conformance.
What our work focuses on
Our accessibility work focuses on meaningful headings and page structure, readable text and contrast, keyboard operation, visible focus, clear labels and instructions, and layouts that support smaller screens and zoom. We also consider reduced-motion preferences and understandable feedback in interactive demonstrations.
We aim to carry these practices through future updates. Browser and assistive technology combinations vary, and barriers may remain. Reports about a specific difficulty help us identify and prioritize improvements.
Report a barrier or ask for help
Email mike@needitbuilt.com with the subject Accessibility. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and what prevented you from doing it. If useful and comfortable, include your browser, device, or assistive technology. You do not need to disclose a disability or medical information.
We review accessibility reports and use them to guide fixes. If a barrier affects an enquiry, describe what you need in the email so we can work with you on another way to access the information.
An alternative way to contact us
You can describe your project directly by email without using any workshop demonstration or enquiry controls. Write to mike@needitbuilt.com.
